Account protection

Protection that works in the background

Behind every JobTek sign-in, automatic safeguards block guessing attacks, close old sessions and keep a record of who changed what.

Safeguards on every account

Attack throttling

Sign-in attempts are rate-limited, so automated password guessing grinds to a halt.

Account lockout

A locked account can only be reopened from a secure link sent to its owner's email address.

Sessions that follow your changes

Change a password, remove a passkey or unlink a sign-in method, and every other session is signed out straight away.

Encrypted everywhere

Every connection uses TLS 1.2 or later, and sign-in state is encrypted and signed.

Why it matters

Most account takeovers rely on guessing passwords, reusing ones leaked elsewhere, or a session left open on a lost device. JobTek closes each route automatically. Guessing is slowed down to the point of being pointless, lockouts can only be lifted by the real account owner, and a security change on one device takes effect on all of them.

Control inside your company

Roles you define

Choose, area by area, whether people in each role can view, add, edit or delete records.

Who changed what

The activity log shows each person's changes, day by day, linked to every record they touched.

Separate customer logins

Customers using the portal have their own logins, kept apart from your team's accounts, and see only what you share.

Company sign-in rules

Require two-step verification, a passkey or, with JobTek Professional, company single sign-on.

Questions about account protection

Which plans include these safeguards?

Every plan. They're always on.

What happens if my account is locked?

Use the secure link sent to your email address to unlock it.

Can I sign out a lost phone?

Yes. Change your password or remove that device's passkey, and its session ends.
