This Cookies Policy explains how JobTek Ltd uses cookies and similar browser technologies on https://jobtek.com, https://app.jobtek.com, https://support.jobtek.com, https://jobtek.net and its subdomains, customer portals, web forms and customer-owned domains linked to JobTek. We use strictly necessary technologies so these services can operate securely. We ask for consent before using an optional technology where the law requires it.
1. What cookies are
A cookie is a small text value stored by a browser. Session cookies are removed when the browser session ends; persistent cookies remain until they expire or you delete them. Similar technologies such as local storage can remember settings without sending the value with every web request.
2. Categories
- Strictly necessary — authentication, request security, account routing, fraud prevention and other functions needed to provide a service you request.
- Functional — remembers a display or product choice. These values are not used to build advertising profiles.
- Analytics — The JobTek marketing site uses Google Analytics 4 to produce aggregate statistics about visits, navigation, engagement and campaign referrals so we can improve the site. We rely on the statistical purposes exception in PECR for this limited use. JobTek does not use this analytics data for advertising, profiling or decisions about individuals, and you can object at any time.
3. Cookie inventory
Not every cookie appears on every domain or visit. A sign-in cookie may be split into numbered parts when its protected sign-in information is too large for one browser cookie.

4. Browser local storage
The web application may store a browser connection identifier (jobtek-presence-client), preferred map provider (jt.settings.mapProvider), workspace tabs and window layout, and editor layout choices such as jobtek.enquiryReplySplit in local storage. These values support the interface in your browser. They are not advertising identifiers and remain until the application removes them or you clear the site data. Clearing them resets the related preferences but does not delete records held in your JobTek account.
5. Third-party sign-in and payment pages
When you choose Apple, Google or Microsoft sign-in, or continue to a payment provider, the provider may set cookies on its own domain. The provider controls those cookie names and durations. Review the provider privacy information linked from the Privacy Policy and use the provider's own cookie controls where available.
6. Cloudflare security cookies
Cloudflare may set __cf_bm or cf_clearance when traffic protection, a security challenge or Turnstile verification is needed. They help distinguish legitimate requests and remember a successful security check. They are not JobTek advertising cookies. Duration and exact use depend on Cloudflare's security response; see https://www.cloudflare.com/policies/privacy/.
7. Managing cookies
On the JobTek marketing site, Google Analytics runs by default under the PECR statistical purposes exception to produce aggregate statistics that help us improve the site. Use Cookie settings in the footer to turn analytics off or enable it again at any time. Turning analytics off stops further Google Analytics collection and removes Google Analytics cookies set by the marketing site. The site stores your choice for six months. You can also inspect and delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may prevent sign-in, form submission, customer portal access or other secure functions. You can remove functional preferences by clearing JobTek site data; they will return to their defaults. Mobile app authentication is normally held in secure device storage rather than browser cookies, although cookies may be used when the app opens a web sign-in or public page.
