FreeAgent and JobTek, always agreeing on who's paid
Connect your FreeAgent business and JobTek exports invoices, credit notes and payments using your categories, bank accounts and VAT. Payments explained in FreeAgent come straight back to the JobTek invoice, so everyone knows exactly what's been paid.
Made for owner-run businesses and their accountants
FreeAgent is a favourite with owner-run businesses and their accountants, and the connection lets each side do what it does best: the work runs in JobTek and the books live in FreeAgent. Invoices go across as they're finalised or sent, and the payments explained in FreeAgent come back to JobTek. It's part of JobTek Professional.
How a payment finds its way back
- 1Exported
The invoice goes to FreeAgent when it's finalised or sent in JobTek.
- 2Paid
The customer pays by bank transfer, and your bookkeeper explains the transaction against that invoice in FreeAgent.
- 3Imported
JobTek's scheduled payment import picks up the explanation and records the payment on the invoice.
- 4Reminders stop
With the balance cleared, the invoice drops out of the reminder list automatically.
What the connection covers
Invoices and credit notes go to FreeAgent and stay up to date if they change. JobTek payments, including those taken through Stripe, GoCardless or PayPal, are exported to the bank account you choose for each, and payments explained in FreeAgent against JobTek invoices come straight back.
